Requirements

  • Jalaraj Instant Khaman Dhokla Mix 180gms
  •  Steamer / Pressure Cooker
  • Any Edible Oil
  • Water

Directions

Note -Use the container provided inside the packet for preparation
1) Make sure the water in the steamer is boiling and producing steam.
2) Empty the Jalaraj Instant Mix in a vessel and add 8 containers of
water (160ml) and 1 container of oil (20ml) and mix everything
thoroughly for 45 seconds to 1 minute until a medium runny
consistency of the paste is formed.
3) Immediately add the paste into
the oil greased plate put it in the steamer, and cook it for 20 minutes
on high flame.
4) Open the lid, take the plate out, and apply light oil over
the Dhoklas, and let it cool for 10 minutes.
5) Take a vessel and add
2 containers of oil (40ml) and heat it on low flame, add 1tsp mustard
seeds, 1tsp cumin seeds, curry leaves, and green chilli and cook it; Turn
off the heat and add 4 containers of water (80ml), 1.5 Tbsp (16gm)
sugar, â…“ Tsp salt (1 Pinch or 2gm)
6) Cut the Dhoklas and pour
the tempering mixture over the Dhokla and they are ready to serve.
